These are the hours you logged — from the first open of the day to Finish day, split between jobs at the midpoint, with before-first-load and after-last-dump left for you to assign. Two decimals, whole minutes underneath; this phone’s loads. Use them as your reference when you enter your time. Days you didn't log show as blank.
Pick the job — the pit, material and foreman you used on it last time fill in for you; change any of them. The lists show what you used most recently first, even while you type. At the pit tap Now on Time loaded — it stamps the time and opens the tons keypad, empty: read the number off the scale and type it in (tons, or yards for topsoil and clay — the unit follows the material). The load can’t save without it. At the site tap Now on Time dumped, then Save load. Your loads go to the office on their own — the tag turns Received when the office has them. At the end of your day tap Finish Day to close everything out.
Why does the tons keypad come up empty every time?
Because every load is weighed. When you tap Now on Time loaded the keypad opens with nothing in it, the unit already set from the material (tons, or yards for topsoil and clay), and you type what the scale says — tenths matter. Nothing is carried over from the last load or filled in for you; the button reads the number back so you can check it before it takes. If you typed a time by hand instead of tapping Now, that time shows a small “typed” mark on the card.
What's the setup screen for?
Set your name and truck once a day so they fill in automatically on every load. Your name locks in so hauls are tied to you correctly.
What does "Repeat last" do?
Copies your last load into the form — everything except the tons, because every load is weighed: tap Now on Time loaded and type this load’s number. Same for the morning “start today like yesterday?” card. Handy for back-to-back hauls on different jobs. For the same haul over and over, use the Load unit and the +1 tally instead.
I did 50 of the same load. Log each one?
Set the unit to Load and log the first trip with its real times. A big +1 Load button appears — for each following trip tap it, tap Now for the load and dump times, then Save. The count on the button goes up with every tap, and the office gets one row per trip — each with its own times and its own miles — so the day reads exactly as it was driven. Same for a tons run: every + Add is its own row. A Load tally never asks for a number — Now on a load count just stamps the time.
I have to go do a different load. Do I lose my count?
No. Tap the route line at the top and choose Pause Job. Your count is saved. Log whatever else you need, then find that job at the top of Today's Loads — it has a PAUSED tag and a Resume Loads button. Tap it and keep counting on the same line.
My phone died in the middle of a tally.
Nothing is lost. Open the app again — your loads are still there, and the tally you were on comes back marked PAUSED at the top of Today's Loads. Tap Resume Loads and carry on where you left off.
I'm behind and catching up on a bunch of loads.
Log them all — getting the load count right matters most. Both times are still required on each one, but trips entered without real times just won't have miles on them. Enter times as you go when you can; that's what gives the office your mileage.
Graveling — do I have to fill the whole sheet every time?
No. Pick the section — the material, pit, route, project, foreman and one-way miles you used on it last time fill in; change any of them. The section, miles, material, route, project and foreman stay on the sheet for the whole run; only the tons (or the load count) and the two times are per load. Tap Now for the times.
What's My Day?
Your timecard reference, built from your own stamps: the day starts when you enter the code in the morning and ends at your last Finish Day tap. It splits the day into before first load, one block per job, and after last dump. The before and after blocks are yours to assign — the app never puts them on a job. Nothing on that screen is sent anywhere; it is only for you to copy from when you fill in your time.
Why don't the hours match my week?
Hours are counted in whole minutes and shown to two decimals, so a row can be off by a hundredth from what a calculator says — the column always foots to the total. When you switch jobs, the gap between the last dump on one and the first load on the next is split at the midpoint, the same rule the office uses. My Week is this phone’s loads — if you used another phone this week, its loads are on that phone. Any week over 40.00 hours is flagged.
What's the "Notes / Customer" field for?
Anything worth flagging — and if you hauled to a customer (not a tracked job), put who to bill here so the office can sort it out.
How do I know the office got my load?
Each load shows a tag: Not sent means it’s only on your phone, Sending means it’s on its way, and Received means the office has it. Tap Finish Day at the end of the day to close your loads out.
I got a blank white screen. What do I do?
That's almost always a cached old version. Close the app and open the link fresh in your browser — don't tap a saved home-screen icon. If it still won't load, tell the office.
My load didn't seem to send.
Your signal may have dropped. Check your connection and send again. No service? Use the email backup under "More options," and keep your ticket.
Will this work on my phone?
Yes — iPhone (Safari) and Android (Chrome), any modern phone. It's not limited to one brand.
I don't see the job or pit I need.
Type it in if it's not listed, or ask the office to add it. New jobs and pits get added regularly.
